Dr. Nadia Cheema


Nadia holds special interests in:

·         Women’s Health & Gynaecology

Nadia has practiced at PFMC since 2015.  She has a varied background in emergency medicine, and community primary health care for women.

Nadia enjoys the diversity of general practice, particularly when dealing with families.  She speaks fluent Hindi and Punjabi.

Anne has been providing health care to the Peregian Beach community since 2001, and she has provided outstanding care to patients for in excess of 30 years. She is a Fellow of RACGP

Anne enjoys the challenges of general practice, and she enjoys the daily interactions she has with her diverse group of patients.

Anita has 20 years of general practice experience, joining PFMC in 2011.  She is a Fellow of RACGP

Anita’s early experience in paediatrics, obstetrics and integrated medicine in the British healthcare system, has led to a long-term continuing interest in family based medicine. 

Dr Kate Krimmer

Kate holds special interests in:

·         Preventative Health

·         Women’s Health

·         Antenatal Care

Kate joined PFMC in late 2018.  She has worked in medical practices in this area since 2012, and she currently holds the position of Medical Education Coordinator with GP Training Qld.

Kate is a preferred antenatal provider for Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

Dr Melissa McMahon

Melissa holds particular interests in:

  • paediatrics

  • adolescent health

  • women’s health

  • preventative medicine

Melissa joins PFMC on 9th September 2019, after a period of maternity leave.

She prides herself in providing high quality care to her patients, and is passionate about promoting the value and importance of primary GP care. Her interest in paediatrics has extended to working as a GP with special interest in paediatrics at Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCHU), and she is a preferred provider for antenatal care at SCUH

Melissa enjoys managing a variety of general medicine cases and chronic disease.

Dr Claire O’Halloran



Claire qualified with a first class honours degree from University College Cork, Ireland in 2001, before migrating to Australia in 2002.

She has previously worked in a number of positions at the Prince Charles Hospital, and Royal Children’s Hospital Brisbane, including experience in the areas of paediatric oncology and emergency.  Claire worked in several general practices on the Sunshine Coast before joining Peregian Family Medical Centre in early 2016.

Claire’s special interests include antenatal care, women’s health, child health, mental health

Dr John Valdivia

John has practiced at PFMC since 2012, and he has a varied background in general practice and emergency medicine.  His past experience has included significant involvement in health promotion & prevention programs.

John enjoys all aspects of general practice.  He speaks fluent Spanish.

Dr Natalie Varga

Natalie holds special interests in:

·         Skin cancer medicine

·         Adolescent Health

·         Mental Health

·         Emergency Medicine

·         Paediatrics/Women’s Health

Natalie is Queensland trained, and a Fellow of RACGP

She is passionate about preventative medicine and enjoys the variety of work in general practice.


Outside of medical practice, Natalie is an avid dog lover, and regularly practices mindfulness whilst exercising with her dogs at local beaches.
